“KMG-Transcaspian” Limited Liability Partnership (hereinafter KMG-Transcaspian LLP or Partnership) was established on 23.10.2008 in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan as per decision of the Board of Directors of JSС NC “KazMunayGas”.

Partnership is a 100% subsidiary of JSC NC “KazMunayGas”.

Partnership’s subjects of activity:

· ensuring participation of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” in the TransCaspian Project as it is defined in the Treaty between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan on assistance and support of oil transportation from Kazakhstan across the Caspian Sea and via Azerbaijan to international markets through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, which was signed on 16.06.2006;

· coordination of activities across all the segments of the Kazakhstan Caspian Transportation System;

· issues on further oil delivery to the international markets.

Core business of Partnership:

· equity share management in subsidiary (dependent) organizations, established for the TransСaspian project implementation;

· participation in implementation of all the segments of the Kazakhstan Caspian Transportation System (engineering, construction and operation);

· study of issues on further oil transportation to the international markets;

· performing studies and other types of activities not prohibited by legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and by the Charter of Partnership.
